"COURTYARD" Coffee Table, Walnut
48L" x 22W" x 14H"
Temple's "BENCH", Walnut
48L" x 12W" x 16H"
Dresser Table, Cherry & Maple
21L" x 20W" x 31H"A continuation in the design language I developed from the Shoe Bench. Building upon the focus on structural frames and strong joints, this table strips away all the unnecessary and leaves behind the key elements necessary for the table to function. The table features exposed drawers, frames which provide the strength, structure, and main aesthetic element. Hand made with unfinished cherry and maple, the table is a custom 1 of 1 piece, made for the client to store their vanity items, and hold space for her daily ritual.
'Kengo Kuma' Inspired Shoe Bench,
Hard Maple
36L" x 8W" x 14H"The Shoe Bench draws inspiration from works by Japanese architect Kengo Kuma, and his use of traditional “Cidori” joints. Inspired by this, the bench focuses on key joinery, a simple form, that is strong enough for both storing and seating.Handmade with Maple, and easily customisable in size, this design can be applied to shoe benches of various sizes. This piece was made at a custom size for the client, who now uses it to store and display her music collection & instruments.
Low Floor Table with Custom Groove, Walnut
36L" x 18W" x 14H"A custom piece for a client, as a gift for his girlfriend. This project had two things to consider; she likes sitting on the floor, and they were in a long-distance relationship. To address this, the low table is custom-sized to comfortably fit one person, providing enough width and depth for optimal use. The key feature is the custom groove, built in to hold any mobile device or tablet, so they could video call, as much and as easily as they like.
About

Hello! I'm William and welcome to Estudio Goo.Estudio Goo is my personal brand and exploration into furniture and design. It's a study of how the spaces around us affect our everyday lives, and through furniture, how we can design, shape, and elevate these spaces.A lot of my work is rooted in both my background in architecture, as well as my Asian heritage. In most pieces, you will see motifs taken from various cultures across East-Asia, or certain details / considerations that can only be developed through the eye of an architect. This page is currently a showcase of a few select works. Some were made custom for clients, some were made for the brand's catalogue, some were simply made to be made.If you see anything you like or interests you, do not hesitate to reach out and inquire. I currently accept custom-order requests, and I enjoy working closely with clients to elevate their space with their dream pieces.Visit my Instagram page to see all my work and stay updated on what I post.Estudio Goo is currently working on something pretty exciting.
Stay tuned for more.
